I must admit, at Collabor88 they had some amazing dresses and so I decided to do another small post for one that captured me completely.

I have been out of touch with SL for a while, think a break was needed, plus gaming got a look in and distracted me!  Anyway, I realised I had been shopping at many places and had put a look together and now I post it! finally!

Mesh bodies!

I raved about the WowMeh mesh body and still continue to do so!  However I also like the Slink mesh body, it is more towards the original avi shape, not as rounded out, however if I were looking at less clothing I do prefer the subtle curves of the WowMeh body.  Below I have some pictures in comparison, both are fitted mesh bodies so you keep the basis of your shape, the WowMeh is a little more curved it seems, also WowMeh has an insize and oversize body, personally I like the insize body, after all I am more like the outsize in real life although more rounded than shaped! lol  (Please note that WowMeh is not currently available to purchase but should be back soon!)

Anyway enough chatter, see for yourself the differences, even compared to the regular SL body.  Everyone has their own tastes and I will use both mesh bodies I have purchased, not sure I would purchase more, the other current mesh bodies did not work well for me when I tried the demo versions on so for now, the two I feel suit me best and with all mesh bodies the simple difference with curves rather than jagged lines beats the basic avi hands down :)  remember these are all based on my basic regular shape, yours would look different.

One major thing that has always bugged me most is the stretch shadows that can occur with the original avi frame when sitting, especially cross legged, that dark brown patch, angular buttocks, well with mesh bodies this is a thing of the past for sure!  Below are pics of each mesh body in seated pose.

As I said, everyone likes something different and because they are fitted mesh they keep the basic shape of your body, simply more curvaceous perhaps in areas, the breasts and butts I love, I never warmed to the mesh breasts or butts really, the mesh body has it all in one! Less moving and fitting which I hated :D  Yup I am very lazy in that respect!! :)  Still mesh bodies are something to look at, hoping that one day mesh heads can also be fitted to current looks as I will not be contemplating mesh head until it occurs, I like to look like me, not everyone else.

Summerfest is here!

Summerfest '14 is on, quite a good selection of items, worth a look, makes you feel like Summer is here to stay! :)  The sim is set so you feel like you are holiday while shopping, can make you spend a little more than you perhaps would have anticipated :D

Summer comes

One of my favourite places to visit is of course The Dressing Room Fusion (TDRF)!  If you don't know of this event each month then do check it out and begin that shopping dream, some amazing items all between 40-70 Lindens, even a couple of special full price items there too.  I threw together a couple of outfits from items I brought to show them off this time.

I saw the yellow and the bright shoes and just had to get them, that feeling of summer from those colours inspires thoughts of holidays!  I had to team them with a bag I have had for a while but adore.

Dark Soul

Yes, the Dark Style Fair is upon us, you may have more luck getting into it now!  I must admit I spent far too much there, I also realised I had not unpacked properly from the fantasy fair before that!  But this post does incorporate most items from the Dark Style fair and more will come I am sure.  Check it out, definitely worth a visit.

Mesh Body - WoWMeh

At last, there is a mesh body! From neck down, with attachable hands and feet so you can keep slink or JD if you have them, or use the ones supplied with the body.  Recently updated there is an insize body which is similar in size to the SL standard shape and the outsize body which is for the ladies who like more curves! Choose which you prefer, I am showing the insize version here.  Note that this is fitted mesh so the sliders work with the mesh body, taking on your shape you can amend as you wish and keep your own head! 

I have found the mesh shape to be much smoother, less angular in poses, perfect for photographs.  Hopefully more people will start making appliers for the mesh body, doing a search for wowmeh does currently show you stores that have already jumped on this bandwagon.

I have obviously not put any naked pictures in here, I will state that the breasts are more rounded and the nipples actually stand out, rather like the mesh breasts that are available :)

Remember the dark patches on inner thighs as though it was all stretched out?  Not with the mesh body, now you can sit without having to photoshop such things out or even buy tattoo layers that I have seen around to smooth it out.  You can get a demo of the mesh body to try out before purchasing too, I recommend it!
